Equality is gaining momentum but we've got to elect more fair-minded leaders.
We've got to Elect Equality.
That's why Alabama Stonewall Democrats is hosting a gay community mixer for elected officials and candidates. Come meet Mayor William Bell, the Birmingham City Council, and the Birmingham School Board. They want your vote.
Equality starts with "Hello." Share your story, share your concerns. Simply attending will demonstrate there are A LOT of us, we are politically aware, and the diversity within our community. It's important that Birmingham's leaders meet all of us.
We need your support. All pro-equality people are welcome and encouraged to attend; you don't have to be LGBT or a Democrat. Bring a friend and together we'll #electequality.
